Ok I've had my jeep for a few months and I don't know any
place to wheel and I don't want to drive forever so I was
wondering where you fellow ohio jeepers go
I am located in Mineral City, about a half hour south of
Canton. I belong to a local charity club and we have a rally
going on 4th of july weekend (its kind of a biker crowd) to
raise money and have a good time BYOB, $35 a couple or $20
per person for all weekend camping starting friday at 5pm,
we have about 100 acres you are more than welcome to bring
your trucks and play in the mud/trails not much challenging
stuff, but the property owner is up for making new trails.
There will be live entertainment and some food available but
you should bring enough for yourself just in case we run
out. If anyone is interested e-mail me willteeple@yahoo.com
and i will get ya more details!
I live in Columbus, there are acres of trails leading back
into a rock quarry with a 60ish foot hill of dirt and sand
and gravel behind the Wal-Mart on South High Street (just
north of the 270 intersection).
LOADS of trails and and streams off of 665 several miles
south of 270 on the east side of 23.
My friends family owns dublin stables, in northwestern
Columbus off of sawmill road (about 100 acres), no real
trails but a couple big fields with nasty nasty mucky ruts,
a few 80-100 ft long 3ft deep water holes and some big
freakin manure piles...enough to tide me over when I get the
urge.
PM me if you're around Columbus, my buddy is always up for
pulling out his El Camino (on K5 blazer frame with 39's), me
in my jeep, my other buddy in his f250 with 39's and making
a mess of their property1990 YJ, 4.2L nuttered and team rush, Weber 34 DGEC, ax-15 np231 d30 d35 3.07 4" RC, 33x12.50x15 a/t 15x10 black cragar soft 8's.
I would rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy.
