View tazzerboy's Gallery | I don’t think we should be overly consumed with the longing
to change or reclaim the linguistical the meaning of the
word “Christian.” Let’s face it, the word “Christian” is a
self appointed, or associated, and passive “title.” Why
waste that much energy over a word. How about "I'm a loser
and a smuck who has been forgiven and redeemed by Christ and
to Him I give my upmost reverence.”
The author of the article is right on in the fact about
“agape” love for others being the heart of Christ and our
call. The love that we share for others is how they will
come to know Him, not by a title we give ourselves.
