seriously. today I passed several jeeps, and none of them
waved. although I was surprised to see an older woman with
kids in the back of her jk wave to me first.

An honor bestowed upon those drivers with the superior
intelligence, taste, class, and discomfort tolerance
(exception to 97 and newer Jeep owners) to own the ultimate
vehicle - the Jeep. Generally consists of either a raised
hand waving or 4 fingers extended upward from the steering
wheel, but may be modified to suit circumstances and locally
accepted etiquette. :rtft :
now i dont know about other places but in chicago it seems
to be less of a wave and more of a peace sign...dunno why2000 tj stick-shift 4 banger, stock for now but not for long

I throw up the peace sign every now and again. It depends on
how I'm driving and which hand is on the wheel.Join the Jeep Wave Club and bring it back!

being new to jeeps I didn't know about the wave untill I was
driving home the day I bought it. everybody in a jeep waves
around here. My wife and kids are getting into to. It's
kinda weird but cool. I recently drove to Myrtle Beach and
my arm got tired of waving around Jacksonville, NC 2004 TJ X model White Looking for center console (the one behind the cupholders), a black hard top, and white 1/2 doors
The problem is that a lot of people buy Jeeps not knowing
the history or tradition. Jeeps have A LOT of history
behind them! Keep the tradition going!"All Gave Some, Some Gave All! Never forget the fallen......."

I am new to this group and I must say, NM has some stingy
wavers! I am trying to change that around here in my 97 ZJ,
which, buy the way, is an exception to the usual "97 and
newer don't count" rule! My baby has all-custom offroading
additions made by myself! Bring on the wave!ZJTechie,
Nobody ever waves unless im in my CJ. I wave at every jeep i
see, even if they do think im crazy.1969 CJ5 1972 J2000 thriftside

More than 75% of the time I wave, I receive one back again.
We do have a variation on the jeep wave some do the middle
finger wave, but I believe this happens mostly when one has
just got cut off.

chicago) the land rover wave was the same when i had one
of them , its always the clean new ones that dont understand
what they have brought in to lol
