I have a 2000 2.5L 4 banger also so i know your pain and frustration with the engine, and if you really want to upgrade engine you shouldnt waste the money on a 6cyl, you should just go for a v8 or a hemi

It would be alot easier to just buy a TJ with a six already in it. That said if your gonna swap do a V8

same frustration as you i hate the 2.5 so i'm putting in a 5.2 V8. the price and trouble of a swap is so close i wont waste the money on a 6cylinder
