thanks, the a/c clutch lock up and snapped my serpintine belt. I was trying to fix it on the cheap so i thought id try bypassing the ac or trying to find an a/c bypass pulley. Lucky for me i was able to find a used saden a/c compressor for $70 and installed it yesterday and all is right with the world!!
This is the first semi major repair to do myself and it was'nt that hard. I'm pretty pumped i was able to do it.

i went to the dealer and they said i could'nt do it. Of course, the dealer wanted $350 for the compressor and $97.50hr labor. I think the problem with the 01's is the routing relies on every pulley. I have'nt been able to figure out how to keep the pulleys turning the right way. Taking the a/c pulley out of the routing causes the alternator to turn the wrong way. I have'nt found anyone who's done it. Thanks anyway, I appretiate the advice.
