First off, Hey,Im Chris and I am new here. Secondly I just bough a 99 TJ on 9-26-09. It had what I thought was a little damage and tire rub from having larger tires, but it only happened on the passenger side. Then after I purchased it and got it home, got dirty and underneath it it looks like alot more damage than I thought. Any thoughts as to how much or how to fix this? I would post pic's but havent been here long enough...

Hey bud, welcome to the forum and to the new life style of owning a Jeep! I am also new to the forum, but have owned Jeeps for many years. The best thing to do is start taking pics of the damage you are talking about and post them. Sounds like someone went rock crawling witha Jeep not set up for it and you just need a suspension system put on it to lift you up. But pics will tell more.

Hey there,

the pics will definitely help, but I would have to agree with Jason. I had what sounds like a similar issue on my TJ, oversized tires without a proper lift...good luck with the problem, hopefully its just a minor issue...
