I'm curious about the straps that came with my LJ. I just bought a used '04 and it came with a bunch of black straps, presumably for the soft top. I know the elastic ones with the snaps are for the back window, and I think the ones with a single buckle are to secure the sunrider. However, there are 2 long straps with plastic clips at the ends, as well as 2 straps with a loop at each end. I have no idea what these are for, so any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

I wondered about the same thing, I didn't get the "official" video, so don't have the answer, it seems you've already figured out that the one with the hook is for when the sunrider is open, you can strap it down to the sound bar. I suspected the others were for securing the rolled up side windows or such.

actually I forgot about the one with the hook...it was on my rollbar when I got the jeep but I have never used it. The sunrider does fine at 75mph with no straps at all!

Try to avoid rolling up the back window and using those straps to hold it there. If you wheeling and it gets dusty those straps will scatch you window. Learned this the hard way on my 97 tj.
