Welcome to anyone who has been or will go to Moab, Utah. I have been once, and will be going for a week in less than 8 days! If you haven't been you owe it to yourself to go at least once...

Woohoo! Well, just got back from Moab. Started a little rocky with some jeep problems on the way there and then I got sick while in Moab, but overall it was a great trip! Here is some pics..

I love Moab and the awesome wheeling there. I have not been this year, and hopefully will be going soon. I just got my Jeep in October and want to get it to the place that inspired me to buy one.

There is no place on earth to jeep like the Moab area! Used to make the Moab trip with my Dad when I was still in school (1969) that would be the middle of the last century! Our CJ-3B handled all we could back then. Moab is still as close as you can get to Jeeper heaven!

Welcome guys! Thanks for joining! I've considered going to EJS, but I think it might be a little too busy for me...

I was in SLC a few months ago had a great time. my biggest regret was not making it to moab for a day. I'm hoping to take a trip out there this summer to do it.

I just spent the last 5 days in Moab and did more trails than I had planed on.

Shafer Trail 6/6
Fins 'N' Things 6/8
Long Canyon 6/9
Onion Creek 6/10

I had no plans of running anything like Fins and I am sure glad that I did. I definitely gained a lot of confidence as a driver as well as in my Jeep. I posted some pics and a trail report of Fins here..

I'd love to come back with more mods such like armor and a bigger lift/tires to do things like Poison Spider, Metal Masher and Helldorado.

I'm half tempted to get a crummy job washing dishes in moab just to be able to wheel.
Over the mountains and through the woods, across the stream and up the slickrock, down the canyon and over the rocks to nobody's house I go.

Hello from New Mexico. Went to Moab in EJS 04 with a friend in his CJ. I was hooked. I returned this year for EJS in my own stock 2000 TJ. I loved it. We did Fins, Kane Creek, and Hell's Revenge. All were great, but my favorite is Kane Creek. I can't wait to go back after my is finished with the steroids!

Hello!

So we finally made the voyage from WI to Moab last Easter Jeep Safari '08. (It was an adventure, but that's another story). While down there, we took Seven Mile Rim and it was a good trail for a restored CJ-7! We were only able to try one trail because we spent the rest of the time in our booth the Vendor Show. Almost a month ago now, we booked our reservations for the '09 EJS and I am SOOO excited. I'm going to bring my Jeep down there and I'm a little nervous taking it on the trails (it will be my first REAL off-roading experience) Anyone have any suggestions on a trail that's pretty gentle on an old CJ???
Anyone else planning on going down to Moab for the 09' Safari??
Just a girl with a Jeep!!! That's right, a black '80 CJ-7 that's all mine...to fix! Hey, girls can have toys too!!
